    We evaluate the logins to your account and flag unusual or potentially high-risk activities in real time so that we can quickly identify indications of attempted fraud.

Frequently Asked Questions

Beware of Morgan Stanley impersonators. We will never call or text you to ask for your account password, username or one-time passcode. We will also never ask you to grant remote access to your computer.

 

Bookmark morganstanleyclientserv.com and use that trusted website or the Morgan Stanley Mobile App to login to your account. Avoid using search-engine results or clicking on links in emails or text messages that appear to be from Morgan Stanley. These may take you to fraudulent lookalike sites designed to capture your login credentials.

Treat unexpected emails and texts with caution. Don’t respond, click links or open attachments in unsolicited messages. Don’t click unsubscribe or even text back STOP.  Instead, label the sender as spam and delete the message.

 

Hang up on callers you weren’t anticipating and call the organization back using a trusted number from an official source like their website, a statement or the back of a credit card. 

If you’re still in contact, stop engaging with the scammer immediately. If you believe you have shared personally identifiable information or account datils, please contact your Morgan Stanley team or call us at 888-454-3965 to assess the situation.

Reusing the same password across accounts increases risk. If one account is compromised, others may be too. Using a trusted password manager can help you create and store complex, unique passwords so you don’t have to remember them all. For added protection, enable multi‑factor authentication (MFA) wherever it’s available—especially for sensitive accounts—so a password alone isn’t enough to log in.
