Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities Co., Ltd. (MSMS) today announced that Daisuke Bito has been appointed as Chairman of MSMS effective May 31, 2026. He will succeed Masato Miyachi who has served as Chairman since June 2022.
Mr. Bito is currently a Managing Executive Officer at MUFG Bank, Ltd. After joining the former Mitsubishi Bank Ltd. in 1992, he held a range of senior positions across the bank’s international operations, including assignments in Asia and the Americas. Most recently, he served as Group Head of the Financial Solutions Group and Deputy Chief Executive of the Global Corporate & Investment Banking Business Unit.
