Morgan Stanley Smith Barney announced today that it will be hosting a Women’s Leadership reception at the Garden City Hotel on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
The event, which is open to the public with advance registration, will feature Barbara Corcoran, Real Estate Mogul, Business Expert and Real Estate contributor for NBC’s “TODAY” Show.
Barbara Corcoran is the founder of The Corcoran Group. She has also heavily invested in income-producing property in the New York City area. Barbara is the real estate contributor for NBC’s “TODAY” Show where she comments weekly on trends in the real estate market. She is an investor/shark on ABC’s reality hit “Shark Tank.” In the first season, she bought eight young businesses which she’s shepherding to success. Barbara is also the author of Use What You’ve Got, an entertaining business book that has become a national best-seller, as well as Nextville, Amazing Places to Live Your Life.
