The event, which is open to the public with advance registration, will feature Sam Perkins, NBA Legend and Consultant to the NBA, Richard Lariviere, President, University of Oregon and Leo E. Self Enhancement, Inc., (SEI) is a nonprofit organization helping at-risk African-American urban youth realize their potential.  In addition to achieving 100% high school graduation rates, more than 85% of graduates continue on to pursue higher education or occupational training - many being the first in their families to do so.  SEI has grown from a one-week summer basketball camp to an agency serving and changing the lives of thousands of students in the greater Portland, Oregon area each year, with plans to expand across the country.

"In SEI we believe that sports without education is a long-shot.," said Tony Hopson, President and CEO of Self Enhancement, Inc.  "It is a privilege to partner with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to discuss how education, sports and leadership can provide the foundation for our youth to become positive contributing citizens."
