Jul 19, 2011

New York —

As it celebrates its second anniversary, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Women Financial Advisors Forum (WFAF) https://www.morganstanley.com/people/financial-advisors/diversity/, has spotlighted more than 100 successful women financial professionals and continues to attract thousands of readers interested in exploring the potential of a financial advisor career.

The pioneering WFAF blog was launched in 2009 and has since inspired the launch of the Multicultural Financial Advisors Forum https://multiculturalfaforum.com, which went live this past January.  So far, these sites have reached a combined audience of over 92,000 viewers  with over 410,000 page views.  Each individual profile is averaging more than 2,000 viewers.

The sites showcase the opportunities, challenges and advantages of a Financial Advisor career for women and people of diverse backgrounds.  Visitors to the WFAF have come from 106 countries, with the largest audience residing in the United States followed by the United Kingdom, India, Australia, France, Hong Kong, Canada, and Asia-Pacific.

"We are proud of the many women and people from multicultural backgrounds who are forging successful careers as Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Financial Advisors.  With them as our most effective ambassadors, we’re using the blogs to reach out to a diverse audience of people who may be interested in exploring a similar career here.  Through Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, we’re able to amplify our message and reach an even wider audience,” said
