Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities Co., Ltd. (MSMS) today announced that Kazuto Uchida will be appointed as Chairman of MSMS effective June 27, 2019, replacing Takashi Morimura who has been serving as Chairman since June 2016.
Mr. Uchida is currently a Member of the Board of Directors and Managing Executive Officer at MUFG Bank, Ltd. After joining the Mitsubishi Bank in 1985, he has assumed various senior positions including his role as Chief Economist, as well as General Manager of the Treasury and Investment Division and Chief Executive of the Global Markets Unit.
