Placement and duration

The entry-level program takes place in Hong Kong and is designed to provide the skills and professionalism necessary to perform at the analyst level.

Training program

The Full-time Analyst Program consists of a full day of Firmwide orientation, followed by approximately four weeks of training, which covers accounting, broad-based financial analysis, Firm-specific systems and policies, the Firm's organization and its businesses and team-building events. Department training provides fundamental knowledge of traded products (derivatives, foreign exchange, repo, securities lending, commodities), bank loans, CRM systems, policies and procedures, and the tools and applications needed to complete initial and periodic credit reviews and loan approvals.

Analysts learn to employ the skills fundamental to credit research, including:

  • Critical reading, writing, reasoning and communicating to assess the credit worthiness of companies in various industries.
  • Presenting their views to CRM senior professionals for approval.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements

  • You are in your final year of study.
  • You have previous internship and/or work experience in finance and/or accounting. You have superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have a strong quantitative orientation and can manage dynamic priorities.
