Operations executes the Firm's institutional, retail, and asset management businesses by supporting and settling daily transactions, devising and implementing effective controls, developing strong client relationships, and engaging with its business partners to enable development of new structures, businesses, and markets. Summer Analysts will join us for a 10-week long Program beginning in June. The Program provides broad exposure to various functions across Operations and the financial services industry, including a Firmwide orientation and on the job training. There will also be opportunities to engage with members of the Operations senior management team. Training Program: A scheduled summer of various trainings, a speaker series, networking, and educational events intended to fully immersed Summer Analysts in Operations and the Firms culture. Role and Responsibilities: Collaborate across various Operations teams to evaluate and reengineer processes to drive greater operational efficiency Obtain a broad understanding of Operations and its departmental interdependencies Present to senior management Partner with different business units to deliver exceptional service to our clients in the areas of trade capture, clearance and settlement, account opening, cash management, billing, tax reporting, and fraud monitoring Partner with Technology to design, manage, and implement business process changes to streamline processes, improve productivity, and optimize operational efficiency Effectively identify and mitigate operational risk while ensuring continued compliance with global regulatory requirements Establish and maintain effective client relationships in order to deliver world class operational services Qualifications and Skills: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 Pursuing a Bachelors degree and graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills Team player who can work in a collaborative environment Attention to detail, exercise sound judgment and can handle sensitive information with discretion Strong time management and multitasking skills and can handle multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and deadline Problem solving skills and the ability to streamline processes in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get the job done Proactive, motivated, and possess poise and self-confidence All majors (disciplines) are encouraged to apply To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status. 2026 Operations Full-Time Analyst Program (Baltimore) The Operations Division at Morgan Stanley is the front line of defense for the Firm's financial and operational well-being and works closely with almost all departments in order to safeguard the Firm's reputation and franchise. Operations partners with Sales & Trading, Finance, Legal, and Technology to execute the Firm's institutional, retail, and asset management businesses - via supporting and settling daily transactions, devising and implementing effective controls, developing strong client relationships, and engaging with its business partners to enable development of new structures, businesses, and markets. Training Program: Opportunities to join in January or July of each year depending on your graduation date An entry-level opportunity to learn about the Financial Services Industry and develop necessary professional competencies to be successful within Operations A Full-Time Analyst Training Program, which includes a Firm orientation, followed by financial, technical, and professional skills training Opportunities to develop your professional network through seminars with senior management, social and networking events, and mentorship. Role and Responsibilities: Collaborate across the various teams within Operations to evaluate and reengineer processes to drive greater operational efficiency. Partner with various business units to deliver exceptional service to our clients in the areas of trade capture, clearance and settlement, account opening, cash management, billing, tax reporting and fraud monitoring. Partner with Technology to design, manage and implement business process changes to streamline processes, improve productivity and optimize operational efficiency. Effectively identify and mitigate operational risk while ensuring continued compliance with global regulatory requirements Establish and maintain effective client relationships in order to deliver world class operational services Upon completion of training, analysts will be assigned to a team within Operations in accordance with business needs Qualifications and Skills: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 Pursuing a Bachelors degree and graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills Team player who can work in a collaborative environment Attention to detail, exercise sound judgment and can handle sensitive information with discretion Strong time management and multitasking skills and can handle multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and deadline Problem solving skills and the ability to streamline processes in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get the job done Proactive, motivated, and possess poise and self-confidence All majors (disciplines) are encouraged to apply To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status. Application Process & Deadline: October 31st, 2025 Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Expected base pay rates for the role will be 58,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
