Biography

Rob is a portfolio manager and head of research on the AIP Hedge Fund Solutions team within MSIM, responsible for overseeing the investment process and team across hedge fund strategies, including equity long/short, credit, quantitative, global macro and relative value. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. Rob joined Morgan Stanley AIP in 2011 and has 22 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, he served as vice president responsible for hedge fund investments at Colchis Capital Management. Previously, Rob was an analyst in the Fixed Income Division at Lehman Brothers, where he executed repurchase agreements and securities lending transactions as a member of the central funding desk. Rob also worked as a journalist for several years. Rob received a B.A. in government from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Bond Club of Philadelphia and the CFA Society of Philadelphia. Rob holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
