Nisha Patel is a senior portfolio manager and Head of Separately Managed Accounts within Parametric’s fixed income business, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management. She provides overall leadership for Parametric’s fixed income separately managed account platform, which oversees over $90 billion in client assets across tax-exempt and taxable strategies. Nisha has primary portfolio management responsibility for municipal SMA strategies and partners with other senior portfolio managers on the firm’s taxable fixed income SMA offerings.
She joined Parametric in 2009 (originally as an employee of Parametric’s former parent company, Eaton Vance). Nisha began her investment management career in 2006 as a portfolio manager with M.D. Sass. She is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and is a CFA charterholder.
Nisha is a frequent guest on Bloomberg and CNBC, where she provides commentary on the municipal bond market, Federal Reserve policy, and the broader U.S. macroeconomic backdrop.
