Doug Rogers, Co-Head of Core / Growth Equity and portfolio manager, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, joined Bloomberg Intelligence’s Inside Active podcast where he discussed his approach to growth investing and how his team works together to identify innovation-driven inflection points that may be meaningful to potential investments. He also discusses his approach to risk management, valuation discipline and the value of separating signal from noise in a complex market environment.
“We are looking for good companies. The key word I draw out is innovation,” said Rogers. “That’s really want our investment process centers around. We’re looking for companies that continue to evolve over time. They catch those inflection points, they continue to develop their business model, change their business models and grow into that next level of the curve – additive curve after additive curve to find their growth.”
