London [ November 17, 2025 ] - Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) today announces the launch of its Morgan Stanley Private Markets ELTIF (the “Fund” or the “ELTIF”), managed by the Portfolio Solutions Group (PSG). The Fund targets high-conviction investments in the middle market across Europe, the United States and Asia.
Designed for investors seeking long-term capital appreciation, the Fund offers exposure to private equity, private credit, real assets, and select public investments globally. The Fund incorporates a thematic investment approach, seeking opportunities aligned with transformative global trends such as digitization, sustainability, deglobalization, and new living.
The Fund employs a bottom-up investment approach, combining rigorous market and fundamental analysis aiming to build a portfolio of high-conviction opportunities.
Leveraging Morgan Stanley’s global platform and sourcing network, the Fund aims to partner with third-party managers to access high-conviction co-investments.
To enhance returns and provide flexibility, the Fund will be actively managed and semi-liquid, operating under the ELTIF 2.0 framework. It allows for monthly subscriptions and may offer quarterly redemptions. In addition to its core asset classes, in compliance with the ELTIF 2.0 regulations, the Fund may invest in public fixed income and other instruments to support portfolio construction and liquidity management.
Federico Vettore, Head of European Private Markets for Wealth at MSIM, commented:
“We continue to see strong demand from investors for access to the enhanced risk-adjusted returns that private markets can offer. With this launch, we’re expanding investor choice by providing a unique combination of private market assets through a thematic investment approach, designed to typically capture mega-trends that can drive long-term performance.’
Commenting on the launch, Steve Turner, Head of Investment Selection for the Portfolio Solutions Group, said:
“The launch of the Morgan Stanley Private Markets ELTIF reflects our commitment to providing investors with access to high-quality private market opportunities.
