Ranjit is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Parametric Portfolio Associates LLC. He is a member of Parametric’s Executive Committee, the MSIM Operating Committee, and MS Firm Risk Committee. He joined Parametric in 2019 and is responsible for Parametric’s technology and operations activities. Ranjit began his career in 1994 has over 20 years in the investment management industry. Before joining Parametric, he was Managing Director and global head of portfolio management investment systems at BlackRock, where he led strategy and development for applications across asset classes for BlackRock and Aladdin clients. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2006, he spent 12 years in technology development and implementation at Citadel, RDA Corporation, and ICARUS (now Aspen Technologies). Ranjit earned a B.E. in computer science and engineering from Punjab University, an M.S. in computer science from American University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
