Dan Ryan is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley Private Credit, where he focuses on operational, technology and data initiatives of the platform. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Ryan was Head of Credit Operations at Vista Credit Partners and previously Head of Private Credit Operations at The Carlyle Group. Before Carlyle, Mr. Ryan was Director of Finance for Serengeti Asset Management, an investment firm focused on niche and illiquid private investments. He began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in finance functions supporting the global credit and equity derivatives trading desks. Mr. Ryan is a CFA® charterholder and earned a B.A. in Political Science and Government and a Master of Accounting (M.A.C.) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
