Mr. Norris is a Managing Director and is the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Risk Management for Private Investing. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2011 and has over 28 years of banking and risk management experience. Prior to this role Toby was the head of risk for Merchant Banking and Real Estate Investing. Prior to joining the firm, Toby was a senior risk executive at Bank of America Merrill Lynch responsible for managing credit risk exposure to large corporate borrowers in North America in the general industrials, gaming, sports and other sectors. From 2005 to 2008 Toby held a series of management positions in Global Risk Management at Merrill Lynch, and was a Managing Director with responsibility for global capital commitments prior to the merger with Bank of America. From 1997 to 2005 Toby was a leveraged finance and media investment banker at Merrill Lynch. Toby received a B.A. in economics from Trinity College and an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
