Business Consulting Services
Morgan Stanley developed the Business Consulting Service concept more than ten years ago to provide strategic consulting and support to clients through all phases of fund evolution – launch, growth and maturity.
We help clients consider plans for their business and help to position them to maximize the chance of growth. This includes strategic input on structuring their business, the positioning of their fund(s), targeting diverse investor groups, and planning for investor due diligence. We collaborate with clients to define requirements, assess alternatives and implement solutions across all areas of a hedge fund business, including real estate, platform design, infrastructure build-out, provider options, systems implementation, business continuity planning, operations review, human resources, and talent introductions.
We provide input based on hands-on experience and knowledge gained from in-depth client interactions. Our highly experienced global team has worked successfully with several hundred hedge fund enterprises of all sizes and strategies. We are fortunate to have had exposure across a range of topics globally and partner with clients to share this experience with them.
We then devise a practical, scalable solution that takes into account each client's unique culture and specific needs.
The team consists of professionals who have extensive practical hedge fund experience and includes management consultants, those with extensive asset raising expertise, compliance, technology and integration specialists as well as operations and client service experts. The Business Consulting offering is delivered seamlessly alongside our Capital Introduction Service as we seek to position clients, prepare them for and introduce them to, varied sources of capital.
Business Consulting Services has over 40 professionals across 5 offices: New York, London, Chicago, San Francisco and Hong Kong. |
Morgan Stanley's Prime Brokerage division offers a workplace culture that is like no other in the industry. |
