Biography

Mark Bavoso is a Managing Director in the Portfolio Solutions Group at MSIM. Within the PSG Capital Markets Group, he focuses on the Global Tactical Asset Allocation Strategy. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1986 and has 42 years of investment experience. Previously, he was a portfolio manager on the MSIM Global Multi-Asset team and a senior vice president and portfolio manager at Dean Witter InterCapital, focused on muti-asset strategies, and a vice president in the Dean Witter Reynolds’ Equity Research Department. Prior to joining the firm, he was a vice president and equity research analyst at Sutro & Co., Inc. Mark received a dual B.A. in history and political science from the University of California, Davis. Mark is a charter member of the firm’s Proxy Review Committee, a member of the Economic Club of New York and serves on both the UC Davis Dean’s Advisory Committee and the Finance & Investment Committee for the UC Davis Endowment.
