  • Market capitalization in excess of $1B; or
  • Top 20 reach per Media Metrix's April data; or
  • Top 20 Media Metrix ranking for average minutes of usage per visitor per month; or
  • Top 20 Media Metrix ranking for average page views per user per month .
The key constant from our first handbook: last year's leaders (AOL, Yahoo!, Microsoft, Amazon.com, and eBay) remain this year's leaders. A key change is the addition of Internet Infrastructure companies (VeriSign, Juniper, Sycamore, CIENA) among the top market cap Internet companies.
