Biography
Olivier de Poulpiquet is Chairman of MSREI and a member of the Investment Committees for North Haven Real Estate Funds and PRIME Europe. Previously, Olivier was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing ("MSREI") from 2010 to March 2022, where he was responsible for Morgan Stanley Private Real Estate Investing globally, including the Prime Property Funds in US, Europe and Asia, a number of Core Club deals and joint ventures in Europe, as well as all Global Real Estate Private Equity Funds (MSREF & North Haven Real Estate Funds). Olivier began his career in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division in 1994 and moved to MSREI two years later. He served as the Head of Acquisitions in Italy and later the Co-Head of European Real Estate Investing, responsible for all MSREI funds including Core, Special Situations and MSREF in Europe. Olivier left Morgan Stanley in 2004 to join Pirelli RE as Head of Asset Management, and in June 2008, he was named Pirelli RE’s Executive Board Member and Chief Investment Officer responsible for capital raising, asset allocation, investment decisions and asset management of the group. Olivier re-joined Morgan Stanley in May 2010. He was based in London until mid 2011 and is now located in the Singapore office. Olivier earned a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
