The best part of my summer experience at Morgan Stanley was…
working with an amazing team and learning about the industry, the firm and
business-associated risks.
I selected Internal Audit because…
it provides a view into an organization’s inner workings: business segments,
clients, risk areas and the controls in place to mitigate those risks. I am
analytic and inquisitive, so this department was a great fit.
As an Internal Audit Summer Analyst…
I learned about the audit process and business risk throughout Morgan Stanley.
I attended the Internal Audit Webinar and learned more about the department’s
role and culture. I came in with solid communication skills and a desire
to be part of the team and learned better time-management skills and how
to build client relationships. My internship opened the door to full-time
career opportunities with the Firm.
My role on the team…
varied weekly. I worked with many different divisions. I helped with project
documentation and explored different risk possibilities that could affect
the firm and its clients.
