A DAY IN THE LIFE

I selected Wealth Management…
because of the fast, complex nature of the business, as well as the depth and breadth of opportunities.  I enjoy the contrast in Financial Advisor practices and the diverse exposure to clientele.

As a Wealth Management Branch Analyst…
I must possess quantitative strength, the ability to communicate effectively, a sound work ethic, and an ongoing awareness for the global marketplace. Our Program is divided into four rotations spanning the course of 26 months:  Operations; Risk and Compliance; Business Development; Brokerage and Advisory. As I progress through each rotation, I am exposed to an array of products and projects requiring competency in a range of areas, from leadership and management roles, to portfolio analytics and modeling.  I learn to work on a team, own projects, and drive results for both management and clients.

A typical day…
varies with respect to each rotation, but I can expect to collaborate with Senior Management and support them in different initiatives as they work to facilitate the Financial Advisor business and spread best practices in the field. As an Analyst, I gather and harmonize data, research products, build or modify models, and ultimately reinforce the advisory practice to the best of my ability.

The best part of my job is…
the exposure I have to some of the most highly regarded managers and advisors in the industry. The diversity and flexibility inherent in this field affords me the opportunity to work with distinguished professionals across business areas to help them provide the most comprehensive solutions for our clients.

Once I have completed the program, I will have an opportunity to explore…
various roles and teams in the Wealth Management division.
