Many of these surgeries are conducted at their charity hospital in Hangzhou. At this event, volunteers will visit children and their families who will undergo (or have undergone) surgeries. Activities include distributing toys and books, playing with the kids and talking to their families pre and post surgery.St James’ SettlementVolunteers will tutor primary school kids in preparation for their year-end exams. ICM: Helping slums in the PhilippinesA decade ago, a group of investment bankers were disturbed by the poverty they saw in the Philippines, where 12 million people live in abject poverty of less than HK$4 per person per day. So they used their business skills to identify ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the poor.
