Foodbank Australia

Beijing Children’s Hospital

Shanghai Charity Foundation

Operation Smile’s Charity Hospital in Hangzhou

Operation Smile China Medical Mission provides cleft lip and cleft palette surgeries for underprivileged children across China. Many of these surgeries are conducted at their charity hospital in Hangzhou. At this event, volunteers will visit children and their families who will undergo (or have undergone) surgeries. Activities include distributing toys and books, playing with the kids and talking to their families pre and post surgery.

St James’ Settlement

St. James Settlement Foodbank

Volunteers will help the Centre to pack rice (from Morgan Stanley’s Rice Drive) for their foodbank which is distributed to underprivileged families across Hong Kong. For more information on the Foodbank, please click here.

Hong Kong Reef Check

Volunteers (certified divers) will monitor a reef site selected by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) and report their findings which will be used for environmental protection. For more information on the Reef Check, please click here.

Happy World Welfare Center

Morgan Stanley Singapore Charity Walkathon

This GVM, Singapore launched its inaugural walkathon, a 5 km walk for charity which will be open to employees and their families. Funds raised will support local charitable initiatives.


Jurong Bird Park with Kids from Children-at-Risk Empowerment (CARE)

ICM: Helping slums in the Philippines

A decade ago, a group of investment bankers were disturbed by the poverty they saw in the Philippines, where 12 million people live in abject poverty of less than HK$4 per person per day. So they used their business skills to identify ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the poor. International Care Ministries (ICM) now provides skills training to more than 100,000 people in 1,500 slum communities, delivers millions of doses of free medicine to the sick, and operates nearly 100 schools for at-risk children.

Fun Day with Children — Light of Life Trust

Around 80 Morgan Stanley employees and family members will visit the Light of Life Trust schools in Karjat (around 100 km from Mumbai) and spend the day with the charity’s children. Hariyali Tree Planting Event
