You can follow the instructions below to connect your StockPlan Connect account with Mint.com or TurboTax accounts
Importing Your Form 1099 on Turbo Tax
- Access your tax filing through TurboTax and when TurboTax prompts you to import your tax documents, follow the instructions below:
- Go to File > Import and select “From Financial Institution”
- Enter “Morgan Stanley” into the “I’m looking for:” box
- Select “Morgan Stanley StockPlan Connect/Benefit Access” and click the “Continue” button
- Enter your StockPlan Connect/Benefit Access User Name and Password and click the “Continue” button
- Your Form 1099 will be displayed on TurboTax. Click on the “Import Now” button to import into your current tax return.
- To view your Form 1099 after import, go to View and select “Forms”
- Select Form 1099 in the left hand column to view it on screen
Adding Your Stock Plan Account to Mint.com
- Go to www.mint.com
- Sign up for an account or log into your existing account
- Go to the “Accounts” tab at the top of the page
- Click on the “+ Add Account” button
- Enter “Morgan Stanley” into text box at the top of the page and hit “Search”
- Select “Morgan Stanley Stock Plan Connect–Benefit Access”
- Enter your stock plan account User Name and Password
- Return to the Mint.com homepage to see your Benefit Access/StockPlan Connect account included under “Investments” on the left-hand side of the screen
