Placement and duration

The Summer Analyst Program offers undergraduates 10 weeks of extensive training, networking and various hands-on opportunities. Students are exposed to career possibilities within functional areas of Merchant Banking, such as Private Equity or Infrastructure. Each Summer Analyst is assigned a manager who provides guidance and mentoring through the summer.

Training program

Through business interactions, job assignments and our speaker series, Summer Analysts gain both business and organizational knowledge, facilitating the successful completion of meaningful projects and providing an invaluable learning experience. Summer Analysts attend a number of social and professional events that provide the opportunity to network and learn about the various products and roles within Merchant Banking.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements

  • You are a university student in your penultimate year of study or first-year Masters student with outstandingacademic standing; preferred financial/business-related studies.
  • You are fluent in English; fluency in Mandarin is advantageous.
  • You are a team player with a strong work ethic who thrives with confidence in intellectual challenges.
  • You have strong analytical skills and the ability to grasp complex data, manage multiple projects, providecomplicated financial analysis and develop appropriate corporate finance solutions.
  • You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to form effective workingrelationships through collaboration, strive for excellence and exhibit the highest ethical standards.
