Placement and duration

The Full-time Program provides graduate students an opportunity to build and master the skills needed for an exciting and rewarding career in Equity Research. You will collaborate with and learn from some of the most successful professionals in the industry. Analysts are placed directly on a desk, in Equity Research, with opportunities across the spectrum of sectors.

Training program

Training includes a Firmwide orientation with a varied range of training courses. There is also business unit-specific training.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering industry and company data to understand industry vision.
  • Analyzing emerging trends in an industry or macro economy.
  • Preparing comprehensive company reports.
  • Assessing relative stock valuations and reviewing findings with senior team members and, ultimately, with internal and external clients.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements

  • Knowledge of accounting, finance or a related field is preferred.
  • You have strong communication skills and are fluent in both Japanese and English.
  • You have basic MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • You are analytical, quantitative and have strong interpersonal skills.
