Placement and duration

The Compensation & Workforce Analytics Industrial Placement Program is aimed at students with a year in industry as a compulsory or optional element of their degree program. The Industrial Placement Program runs annually beginning in June, and students have the opportunity to spend a year in either the Compensation or Workforce Analytics Team.

Training program

Training begins with a Firmwide induction alongside your peers from other areas of the Firm. This is followed by two to three days of classroom-based training covering product and industry knowledge, personal effectiveness and technical training, as well as a team-building activity. Industrial Placement Interns will also receive considerable on-the-job training, as well as a series of Lunch & Learn sessions, networking events, mentoring and work shadowing opportunities.

Responsibilities

The EMEA Workforce Analytics team supports Human Resources and the Firm in the management of HR data and reporting, and in the continued development of strategy through insights derived from data analysis. The team provides technical expertise, advice and support to a variety of crucial Firmwide processes related to recruitment, retention, compensation, advancement and development.

The EMEA Compensation team supports Human Resources and the Firm in the management of all elements of remuneration. Having pay practices which comply with regulations and incentivize our employees is particularly important for the Firm to deliver its strategy. The team provides expertise and strategic advice to ensure our pay policies are implemented effectively. The team is also responsible for our remuneration reporting to the Regulators, so the ability to work with complex information and maintain a high attention to detail are key.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements

• Highly numerate with a logical and analytical mindset
• Able to communicate complex ideas effectively to key stakeholders
• Thorough attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
• Team player and able to work under pressure
• Enjoys a high-volume, fast-paced and dynamic environment particularly during cyclical mid-year and year-end compensation rounds
• Preferably familiar with Microsoft Excel and Access
• Studying towards Bachelors, Masters or equivalent degree with a 12 month placement option
