The Finance Industrial Placement Program is aimed at students with a year in industry as a compulsory or optional element of their degree program. The Program runs annually, beginning in June. The curriculum includes an orientation of the Firm, senior management speaker seminars, social and networking events to build Industrial Placements' professional networks.
The Program begins with a Firmwide induction with peers from other divisions. This is followed by two days of classroom-based training covering product and industry knowledge, personal effectiveness and technical training, as well as a team-building activity. Industrial Placement students also receive considerable on-the-job training, a series of “Lunch & Learns” networking events, mentoring and work-shadowing opportunities.
