Placement and duration


The Corporate Treasury Industrial Placement Program is aimed at students in their penultimate year of university who are studying a sandwich course that involves a year in industry. The Program runs annually, beginning in June.  Industrial Placement students are placed in roles based on interview feedback, their interests and current business needs.

 

Training program

Training begins with a Firmwide induction along with peers from other divisions. This is followed by four days of classroom-based product and technical training. Industrial Placement students also receive considerable on-the-job training, a series of “Lunch & Learns,” networking events and work-shadowing opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for EMEA ALCO, Senior Management, and FCA Regulatory meetings.   
  • Review the Internal Liquidity Stress Test (ILST) and develop reporting enhancements for major EMEA entities.
  • Support the capital team in Regulatory stress testing.
  • Analyse the capital, liquidity and funding requirements of existing and new legal entities.
  • Review suitability of new unsecured debt issuances
  • Provide analytical support to the Treasury functional teams
 

Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Track record of academic excellence.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize a variety of data to produce well-designed and meaningful summaries and reports.
  • Adept at solving problems and developing efficient processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
