Full-Time Analyst - Earlybird

Placement and duration

The Corporate Treasury Full-time Analyst Program is aimed at students in their final year of university, running annually, beginning in July. Analysts are placed into specific teams based on interview feedback, their interests and current business needs.

Training program

The program begins with a Firmwide induction followed by training focused on enhancing Analysts' business and technical knowledge, including extensive IT training, Excel and practical skills sessions.

  • Report on liquidity risk, currency hedging, the Firm's capital base and a multibillion dollar debt portfolio
  • Work with a trading desk to manage liquidity and long-term funding through the capital markets
  • Analyse regulatory changes, industry trends, competitor performance and their impact on Morgan Stanley
  • Interact with business units and support functions to assess and manage liquidity, capital and funding needs

Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements

  • You are a final-year undergraduate student with outstanding academic achievements and are on track for a 2.1 honours degree or equivalent.
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal and client-service skills.
  • You are a team player and adept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • You have strong analytical capabilities and the ability to summarise complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity.
  • You know Microsoft Office products.
  • You have superb quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
  • You are detail-oriented and have a strong commitment to accuracy
