Mr. Krishnan is Head of North America Private Credit and chairs the platform’s Investment Committee. A founding member of Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s (MSIM) Private Credit Platform, he brings 25 years of financial services experience, including over two decades as a principal investor in private markets spanning junior capital, special situations, and direct lending. Mr. Krishnan joined North America Private Credit in 2009 as one of four initial members. Prior to joining MSIM, Mr. Krishnan was an investor within Morgan Stanley Principal Investments, and earlier a credit analyst in the High Yield & Distressed Research group of Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Division. Before joining Morgan Stanley in 2003, he was an analyst in UBS's Communications Investment Banking group. Mr. Krishnan holds an M.S. in Engineering from Columbia University and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Bangalore University, India. Over his tenure at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, he has served as a board director for numerous portfolio companies across the US and Europe.
