Peter Harned is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and Chief Financial Officer for Global Real Assets. Peter is responsible for managing finance, reporting, portfolio management, risk and legal / regulatory activities across Real Assets. Peter has over 36 years of institutional real estate experience. Prior to his current role, he was Global CFO of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing, and has held positions as Head of Asset Management and Capital Markets for Europe based in London, Head of Capital Markets for MSREI in the Americas and as Global Operations Officer for the real estate investment banking and investing businesses. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Peter held roles in acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio management at predecessors Lend Lease and Equitable Real Estate. Peter received a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
