Biography

Bill Gassman is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley and a member of the Morgan Stanley Private Credit team, where he focuses on originating and underwriting investment opportunities. Mr. Gassman joined Morgan Stanley in 2012 and has over 21 years of relevant industry experience. Previously, Mr. Gassman was a Managing Director with Kohlberg Capital Corporation, a publicly traded business development corporation. He also served as Vice President of Falcon Investment Advisors, as Director of Financial Sponsors Coverage at UBS Investment Bank, and as Director of Financial Sponsors Coverage at CIBC World Markets. Early in his career, Mr. Gassman was a naval architect designing and overseeing the construction of tankers and bulk carriers. Mr. Gassman holds a B.S. from Webb Institute of Naval Architecture, a S.M. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
