Biography

Joanne Cosiol is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley and a member of the Morgan Stanley Private Credit team, where she focuses on operations and financial administration for the Middle Market Direct Lending strategy. Ms. Cosiol joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 and has over 21 years of relevant industry experience. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Ms. Cosiol was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, where she served as the firm's Corporate Secretary and was a senior member of the firm's legal and compliance team. Prior to joining The Carlyle Group in 2006, Ms. Cosiol was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Ms. Cosiol holds a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, a M.S. in Public Policy from Rutgers University and a B.A. from the University of Rochester.
