Seth Barlam is an Executive Director and Operating Partner focused on asset management. Seth joined MSIP after spending 20 years at General Electric in roles of increasing responsibility, culminating as Senior Vice President at GE Energy Financial Services. Seth has over 17 years of direct investing experience in the infrastructure sector, over which time he closed 18 transactions and managed 29 direct investments. Seth also spent 8 years in global operating roles at GE, spanning 12 business units and 17 countries. Seth holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York, a B.S. in Computer Science and B.A. in Mathematics, summa cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
