Ping is a quantitative analyst for the Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners Hedge Fund group, focusing on the quantitative analysis of hedge funds and portable alpha portfolios. She joined Morgan Stanley AIP in 2006 and has 17 years of industry experience. Ping received a B.S. in computer science from Tsinghua University, China. She also received an M.S. in knowledge discovery and data mining as well as a Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Ping is a Level III candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst Program.
