Biography

Amay is co-head of Emerging Markets Equity and co-lead portfolio manager of the EM Core strategies on the team. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1997 and has 28 years of investment experience. Amay received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Amay is a non-executive Board Member of Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, a foreign policy think tank based in Mumbai, and is on the Board of Advisors of WOTR: Watershed Organization Trust, a non-profit organization that focuses on creating resilient and sustainable rural communities in India. He is a regular speaker on investing and markets at the FLAME Investment Lab at FLAME University in India and is also a mentor with the CFA Society Singapore’s mentorship program.
