Henri Buchsteiner is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley and a member of Morgan Stanley Investment Management's Tactical Value Investing team. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2012 and is based in New York. Prior to his current role, Henri was a Vice President in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division in New York where he was responsible for diligence, financial analyses and execution of M&A, LBO, financing and IPO transactions. Before that he was a research scholar at the University of Cambridge and a visiting research scholar at Princeton University, where his research focused on the valuation of assets during market dislocations. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Cambridge (Oxford-Cambridge Best Paper Award) and a BA in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (graduated first in his class).
