Thomas Bergen is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and a Portfolio Manager in the Private Credit team. He brings 24 years of relevant credit investing and leveraged finance experience. Mr. Bergen is based in New York and joined Morgan Stanley in 2016. Previously, he structured, marketed and syndicated leveraged loans on behalf of middle market businesses from 2013-2016 at both GE Capital and Capital One. Prior to that, he served as an investment analyst for distressed and performing corporate credit at Litespeed Partners from 2007-2009 and at Priority Capital Management from 2009-2013. Additionally, Mr. Bergen was an Executive Director in JP Morgan’s Syndicated and Leveraged Finance group from 2000-2007. Mr. Bergen holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and an M.B.A from the University of Rochester.
