Biography
Matas Vala is a research analyst on the Investment Grade Credit Team. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2019. He began his career in the investment industry in 2012. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Matas was a Credit Analyst at both Onex and NIBC, and an investment analyst on Blackrock’s Global Fixed Income team. Matas earned an M.Sc. in business and economics (with specialization in finance and economics) from Stockholm School of Economics. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
