Matt joined Morgan Stanley in 2008 and has 21 years of financial industry experience. He is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and the lead portfolio manager for Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Global Infrastructure Securities platform, having co-founded the strategy in 2010. Currently, Matt oversees all aspects of the platform, including day-to-day management of the portfolios, sector and company research, and business development efforts.
Previously, Matt worked at Bear Stearns in a variety of roles including investment banking and research, during which time he provided research and analytical support for a number of infrastructure-related financings. Matt received a B.A. in diplomacy and world affairs, magna cum laude, from Occidental College and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.
