Biography

Cher Meng is a Vice President at Morgan Stanley and a member of Morgan Stanley’s U.S. private credit strategies. Ms. Meng is responsible for the finance, accounting and reporting functions for the business development companies (“BDCs”) and other direct lending vehicles. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2024, Ms. Meng worked in the hedge fund and private equity sectors as the Controller at D1 Capital Partners and Assistant Controller at Alpha Wave, overseeing valuation, portfolio monitoring, financial and investor reporting. Ms. Meng started her career at Ernst & Young as an auditor in their financial services group.

Ms. Meng holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance from New York University. Ms. Meng is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and a CFA charterholder.
