William J. Littleton is a Vice President of Morgan Stanley where he serves as the Co-Head of the Managed Solutions Group (MSG) of Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s (MSIM) Solutions & Multi-Asset platform. William is the Lead Portfolio Manager for the MSG Access Beta Solutions suite of equity investment strategies and is the Co-Lead Portfolio Manager for MSG’s Enhanced Beta suite of structured notes strategies. He is based in New York and has 12 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining MSIM, William was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) where he served as a client-facing product manager focused on product design & management, capital raise, business strategy, and quantitative analysis for systematic option overlay, alternative risk premia, and tax-efficient equity investment strategies. Prior to this role, William was a member of GSAM’s Portfolio Construction Services team, where he focused on delivering portfolio allocation and implementation recommendations across asset classes to GSAM clients. He started his career at Goldman Sachs within the Market Risk Management & Analysis group where he was responsible for analyzing and managing the market risks of the firm’s proprietary hedge funds.
William received a B.A. degree in Economics from Amherst College and has also studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
