Background

Steven Santoro is a Vice President at Morgan Stanley and a member of the Private Credit team of Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM). Mr. Santoro joined Morgan Stanley Private Credit in 2019, and brings over ten years of relevant experience.

Prior to his role on the Private Credit team, Mr. Santoro spent three years on the Internal Strategy and Corporate Development team at Morgan Stanley, where he worked on the Firm’s principal acquisitions of Mesa West Capital, LLC, a leading U.S. commercial real estate credit platform, and Solium Capital Inc., a Canadian based provider of SaaS for equity administration, financial reporting, and compliance.

Mr. Santoro began his career on the fixed income sales and trading credit desk within the wealth management division of Morgan Stanley, where he spent time working in both New York and San Francisco, helping to grow and integrate the credit business after Morgan Stanley’s acquisition of Smith Barney in 2009.

Mr. Santoro holds a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
