Venu Rathi is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley and a member of the Morgan Stanley Private Credit team, where he serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Middle Market Direct Lending strategy. Mr. Rathi joined Morgan Stanley in 2019 and has over 24 years of relevant industry experience. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Rathi held various senior positions at The Carlyle Group including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer of its Global Credit platform. Mr. Rathi also served as Chief Financial Officer and treasurer of TCG BDG, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer of TCG BDG II, Inc. Prior to its acquisition to TCG BDG, Inc. Mr. Rathi served as Chief Financial Officer and treasurer to NF Investment Corp. Prior to joining The Carlyle Group, Mr. Rathi worked within the financial services assurance practice of Ernst & Young LLP and its affiliates. He is a New York State Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Accountant. Mr. Rathi earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from MDS University in India.
