Background
Ed is a portfolio manager on the AIP Private Markets team and has 18 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Ed worked for Sterling Partners focusing on private equity investments in health care and technology. Previously, he was an associate in the investment banking department at Toronto Dominion (f/k/a Commerce Bancorp) where he where he advised public and private firms on mergers & acquisitions, going-private transactions, and capital placements. Before that, Ed was a management consultant for Accenture in the firm’s Healthcare and Life Science practice. Ed received a B.A. magna cum laude in business administration and Italian from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
