Melanie Paty Nagpal is the Head of Sustainability Client Engagement for the Morgan Stanley Investment Management Sustainability team. In this role, Melanie focuses on sustainability thought leadership, external partnerships and client relationships. Previously Melanie served as the Head of ESG Reporting & Shareholder Engagement for Morgan Stanley’s Global Sustainability Office. She helped drive the firm’s sustainability reporting strategy and partnered with Morgan Stanley’s Investor Relations team to engage shareholders on sustainability topics. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Melanie was a Policy Officer with the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). Melanie holds a B.A. with honors in Environment, Economics & Politics from Claremont McKenna College.
