Morgan Stanley staffers share Wealth Management executive Sandra Richards' book which explores diverse cultures and cuisines.
Morgan Stanley staffers read to students at the Early Learning Center of the W.W. Smith School in Poughkeepsie, New York, in celebration of National Diversity Day on October 7.
What made it special for Sandra Richards, Executive Director, now the Head of Business Development & Segment Marketing in Wealth Management? The book they chose to read, “Rice & Rocks,” is a children’s title written by Richards. She created “Rice & Rocks” as a loving tribute to her nephew, Giovanni, who died from meningitis at 8 years old. The book is based on a conversation she had with him about Sunday dinner—where rice and beans was always served, and which Giovanni called “rice and rocks.”
