Morgan Stanley

Now in its 4th year, Morgan Stanley’s Senior Multicultural Leaders Conference continues to be a premier gathering of multicultural leaders and entrepreneurs in the country.

The conference, led by Carla Harris, Vice Chairman and Senior Client Advisor at Morgan Stanley, brought together more than 300 senior-level leaders, including Fortune 500 executives, investors, and civic leaders, for a full day of insightful panels, knowledge sharing, and networking.

The theme of this year’s conference was “Geopolitics, Generational Shifts and Digital Transformation: Driving the Corporate Agenda,” and featured panels on a number of pertinent topics, ranging from impact of corporate board diversity to the impact of millennial entrepreneurs on the multibillion-dollar personal care industry.

Among the highlights from the full day conference was a panel on trade and geopolitical relationships and their impact on the global workforce, which was moderated Ambassador Ron Kirk, the 16th Unites States Trade Representative. Later in the day Caroline Clarke, Chief Brand Officer at Black Enterprise, hosted a fireside chat on the role of politics on todays’ business agenda with reporter Charles Cook and Deval Patrick, the 71st Governor of Massachusetts.
