Our platform offers fast and stable direct access to the major US and European futures markets. Clients are able to trade equity index, fixed income, commodity, and FX futures globally while accessing customized algorithms and 24-hour support. Our services extend on both ends of the execution process as well with news and views, analytics, reliable processing, reporting, and risk management.
MSET’s swaps offering facilitates synthetic exposure to a wide array of equity and fixed income products. We offer a robust entry system that handles hundreds of orders per second filled in real time through both our proprietary system, Morgan Stanley PassportSM, and via FIX. Our suite of algorithmic trading strategies, automatic processing of corporate actions, T+1 reporting on all cash flows, and other pre- and post-trade analysis differentiate our superior client service.
MSET’s options platform connects to all major options exchanges around the world, through both Morgan Stanley PassportSM and via FIX. We offer a broad, reliable, and transparent product in this high growth area. Just as the markets change dynamically, so do our tools. Discretionary orders are built on Morgan Stanley’s OSORT (Options Smart Order Router) engine, which helps to manage fragmented liquidity by optimally routing options orders based on factors that include price, speed, stability and options market rules.
MSET’s foreign exchange offering provides liquidity and trading opportunities to our clients through efficient and transparent order managers generating dynamic pricing. Our focus on connectivity, coupled with our approach to pricing, gives us a unique style of liquidity provision, meaning we aim always to have a tradable price for our clients in all market conditions and through all market data events. Our clients trade either using a streaming-price FX FIX API (Foreign Exchange Application Programmable Interface) backed by our market-leading pricing and risk management, or using Passport’s state-of-the-art interface for FX electronic trading.
