The Morgan Stanley Foundation has been supporting the communities in which we live and work for more than 50 years. We believe a healthy start and a solid education are the fundamentals upon which future success is built. In service of this mission, Morgan Stanley and its employees generously donate intellectual capital, leadership and “sweat equity” to leverage the Foundation’s financial support, maximize our impact on communities and deepen our partnerships with grantees. Specifically, through our signature initiative, The Morgan Stanley Global Alliance for Children's Health, our support of diversity education and our significant employee volunteer efforts, we work to extend the Foundation’s financial resources across the globe in order to strengthen our communities and offer opportunities to underserved populations worldwide.
Our sister organization, the Morgan Stanley International Foundation, which shares our mission, was founded in 1994 to provide more localized outreach across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Through the Richard B. Fisher Scholarship program, we provide scholarships, internships and career development to minority students at the undergraduate level. Since 1993, nearly 400 students have received assistance through this program.
